1.  Lexmark Research and Development Corporation [LRDC] Cebu


An American company, established in 2001 that designs, develops and maintains hardware, software and firmware for Lexmark International's products.

LRDC Cebu is the central base facility of Lexmark's R&D operations in the Asia-Pacific region and occupying 2 facilities, Lexmark Plaza 1 & 2.

There are a total 4 Lexmark facilities on Cebu. The other 2 comprise a shared services facility (LSSC) also located in that same area; while the other is a manufacturing facility (LIPI) located on Lapulapu City, Mactan Island. 

Lexmark's headquarters is in Lexington, Kentucky and was formed in 1991 when IBM divested its printer and printer supply operations to an investment firm.

2.  NCR Cebu Development Center, Inc

Established in 2004 March, this Cebu facility was born to support the NCR-Retail Solutions Division's engineering activities located in the US.

NCR Cebu's support activities are of three areas: software, hardware and mechanical, and it's specific projects are firmware, software modules and applications, PC hardware architecture and technical information manuals. It also houses a support facility of NCR-Systemedia Division, a developer of world-class printer consumables.

An American company established in 1884, NCR Corporation is a global technology company and a leader in ATMs, self-check outs, financial self-service, store automation, business consumables and IT support services. It is one of the first global businesses.

3.  Saturn International Design and Development Corporation

This Cebu facility houses a design engineering and commodity group and it's main functions are: engineering, IT and purchasing. A subsidiary of a US company, Saturn Electronics and Engineering Incorporated--a leading, privately-held global supplier of a wide range of components, modules, and sub-systems aligned into three focused areas:electronics, solenoids and electrical distribution.

4.  Lear Corporation - Philippine Engineering and Technology Center [PETC]

One of the global engineering and technology facilities of the Michigan-based US company, Lear Corporation--the world's largest automotive interior systems and components supplier. Lear provides complete seating systems, electronic products and electrical distribution systems. It's world-class products are designed, engineered and manufactured through a large and diverse team of employees at numerous facilities (242) in many countries (33). Its world headquarters is in Southfield, Michigan State.

1. Dash Engineering (Philippines) Incorporated

The company exemplifies superior Computer-Aided Design(CAD) software technologies and methodologies and other design engineering technologies in the fields of Plant Engineering, Shipbuilding and Advanced Machinery. It is a subsidiary company of Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MES) of Japan that is based in the Philippines. Over many years of existence in the field of Plant Engineering & Shipbuilding industry, Dash Engineering Philippines Incorporated, has established its identity as a trusted Engineering Design firm. 2.  TSUNEISHI Technical Services Philippines, Incorporated [TTSP]

In 1992, this facility is established in Cebu to engage in ship design business and to subsequently engage in detail engineering design. TTSP engages at least  70% of its man-hour capacity in exporting detail designs, plans, drawings and a maximum of 30% catering to the local engineering and ship building industries.  Up to now, TTSP is continously moving fore, designing in the age of change, committed to providing drawings and plans of the highest level, carving its name through quality and excellence in the global environment.

With its pool of competent and highly skilled Filipino work force and coupled with the Japanese technology and its valued standards, they envisioned themselves of building and having their own reputation with quality and excellence, be among the world class ship design companies.

It is a subsidiary company of Tsuneishi Holdings Corporation of Japan.
